"The host was on site when we arrived and greeted us graciously and efficiently. The room was clean and spacious, with a beautifully renovated bathroom (Room 5). The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but comfortable. There was no place to hang clothes, but there was plenty of drawer space in the bureau and bed stands. The reservation portal indicates the room has a hair dryer and a microwave oven, but it does not. They are still in renovation mode, so the outer appearance of the property still...

"Beautiful space! Clean, creative atmosphere. The host was great at communication and made sure all was well. Definitely recommend, especially for artists!"

"Avoid the crowds in South Berkshire County and stay at this lovely inn at the foot of Mt. Greylock. Country charm paired with comfortable beds and fully updated bathrooms made for a great stay. Brandi and Darryl are wonderful hosts-- Don't sleep in and miss Brandi's 8:30am breakfasts!"

"Staff was friendly and accommodating (example: got to the complimentary breakfast 15 minutes before close. No coffee, so she cheerfully made a fresh pot just for us.) Place was clean;everything worked great. Had a nice bench seat outside the room to look at the mountains and relax after several hours of motorcycle riding. I would absolutely recommend the place and would stay there again."

"Older strip type motel. That said room was clean and bed was comfortable. It was good for a couple of days that I stayed. No breakfast available at motel though they did give me a discount coupon to bar/resturant next door. "

"Room very clean and beds extra comfortable. Lots of small decorating features for a motel and gardens on grounds were extra beautiful. Rooms themselves felt older but with new furnishings. Overall a comfortable stay."

"The door handle and door mechanism in my room was covered in dust. The door to the bathroom had a hard time closing because it was warped. There was a large stain on the rug. There was a spider on the curtains. I left after one night of a two night stay."

"Great place, friendly staff, good foot. However, the white elephant in the room as that you can hear through the walls as if the other guests are in your room with you. And I mean hear EVERYTHING. I noticed this in some other reviews before I stayed here - they were comically (and annoyingly) proven right."

"Nice property. Not fancy but clean and nice. The people running it seem really nice and try to be helpful. If you are bothered by traffic noise you might want to ask for second floor away from traffic."

"Innkeeper is friendly and the place was fairly clean. Lovely to have coffee and complimentary breakfast on site. Rooms (especially the bathrooms and baseboard heaters) are somewhat dated and could use a refresh. Visited during a chilly time of the year and thermostat was tricky to operate. Heat was set not to go above 75 degrees, which was less than ideal."
