"This hotel is part of history. It was a great experience. The building and some of the original features have been preserved beautifully. The theater makes you dream of the glorious days when art was highly regarded. We got to enjoy music played on a phonograph in our room. It was like time traveling to the great Gatsby era π"

"The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. I suggested that add a luggage rack inside the door, a towel hook in the bathroom, and a better reading lamp by the bed. It was wonderful to have real half and half rather than coffee creamer and the provided an array of free snacks."

"The indoor pool was great. They have lights hanging in the courtyard. The ambiance is really nice. The restaurant has amazing food, no need to leave the hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much."

"It is a charming inn with very lovely staff & family attending the guests. I highly recommend staying here if you appreciate history & charm! The building was built in 1788 I believe they said. We stayed inPikes Suite and were comfortable and happy. Yes, the beautiful old floors creak, but itβs all part of the charm of this lovely still family owned hideaway! I hope to return again!"

"It was a beautiful property with friendly staff. The room was very pretty but the mattress was very soft and the pillows were tiny. We loved the fireplace as well but when you lay down you can't see the fire and it was uncomfortable to sit at the end of the bed. A cozy area should be in front of the fire place. However I would still stay there again."
