Blue Door Inn

"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated having coffee and a refrigerator in the room. My second floor room had windows that faced the front and rear of the property and the views were nice. I enjoyed seeing elk right outside the window. The breakfast was ok - quite a few choices; yogurt, juice, cereal, pastries, toast, biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs & apples. The biggest disappointment was the condition of the outside of the building. It gave me a little bit of a negative first impression. The paint was worn, as were the carpets on the walkways. The cement and asphalt were lumpy, making it somewhat difficult to walk safely. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would stay again."

"The hotel looked nothing like the pictures online. The hotel appears to be very old, though it has been modernized somewhat. Very comfy beds, and the staff was amazing. I needed a blow-up bed for a third guest, and the staff was very quick to respond. I highly recommend this hotel and I would stay again."

"Room was clean. Staff was nice. It was in a good location. Did not get much sleep because people in the room above us were very noisy. Bathroom felt small and crowded. Breakfast was not the best but ok"

"Highly recommend! Note: If you are from a hot state like Texas there were not AC in the room. However, there was one box fan. It was comfortable in the room overnight but if you are hot nature or elderly that get hot fast then make sure to bring one. It might have said on the listing but the only thing that stuck out was no TV which I thought was great!"

"Expedia said pool was saltwater- it’s not & breakfast was included- it’s not The staff tho was great about this and offered us a discount for breakfast for the misleading information upon booking. We also got our room upgraded no charge from a double queen to a jr suite, which was great with 4 small children. All in all we would stay here again!"

"Beautiful old hotel. We had an issue with cleanliness of our bed, and the staff addressed this immediately and to our satisfaction. Not a quiet place- all rooms have portable AC (the building is OLD and has no central air), and this is noisy. Walls are also fairly this so you will hear your neighbors. Beautiful scenery and architecture. Highly recommend!"
