"Check-in took 45 minutes from when I got to the counter. Staff didn’t know how to retrieve my reservation which was booked through Expedia. Then they didn’t know how to make a room key, because they were unable to log into their computer program. The room itself was fine, but with the location so close to the highway, there was incredibly loud traffic noise all night. I would avoid this hotel "

"Everything was great until we tried the tv, they offer streaming but when we tried to cast our programs, there was no internet service. Thus we were unable to watch what we wanted and the number of other channels available was very limited. We were not happy about it."

"I did not feel like the property was particularly welcoming for either people or dogs. The staff seemed annoyed when questions came up. For example, morning coffee was promised in the lobby, but there wasn't any. Guests had to go to the restaurant and stand around and wait. The hotel is modern and beautiful and in a lovely location. "They need better night staff. The people are so rude and condescending. They will try to hustle you into deposits that weren't apparent up front before booking, then blame it on Expedia. I paid and booked online during a family trip. Upon arrival, they said Expedia shouldn't have allowed me to purchase this room because they don't allow 5 people. I have 3 small kids that fit into 1 bed just fine, and we had just spent 6 days at an Anaheim motel 6 with no issues. So after driving all day, Redding...

"Room spacious with fridge and microwave. Comfortable beds. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, there was only one near the sink in the kitchen area. Would be nice if there was a kettle to make tea in the room as the coffee machines are not adequately cleaned to make tea. Staff seemed friendly"
