"Nice rehab for a 1960's motel making hip again!"

"Not what I would expect from a Sheraton! Young kids running the front desks that acted like it was an inconvenience for them to help you. Too busy on their phones! The price of the parking was absurd and never disclosed. Had to wait for a 1/2 hour for coffee in the morning and it was so terrible I couldn’t drink it. I was also so embarrassed for them on how the coffee table looked! Everything was a mess like no one even cared to straighten it up. I really wish I hadn’t wasted my money staying...

"they were undergoing an upgrade and the day we were there. they had the parking lot blocked of for seal coating and striping. The interior was freshened up, and the room seemed to have undergone a remodel, but they must have run out of money because they had removed the desk and not replaced it, and only one light over the bed was new not both. "The room was amazing. It had all the amenities for an extended stay. The bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Staff was very helpful. Neighborhood was sketchy but I felt safe there and my car was right by my room. Room was nice. Bathroom shower area could use a deep cleaning. Grout was very dirty or stained. Bed has a thin metal base that makes it impossible to sit on the bed without it making a very loud noise. The people above me were very very noisy for hours. Staff should be aware of extra loud people."

"Hotel wouldn't accept an ID that was damaged and therefore wouldn't check the customer in. While that wasn't appreciated, Red Roof Inn in Redding CA is unwilling to refund the cost of reservation. Since the customer paid for the night and Red Roof choose not to accept the ID a reason concession would be to refund the fees. The customer incurred further costs at another near by hotel for the night."

"Oddly, there isn't a sign on the main road indicating the entrance to the hotel (as the hotel is behind several businesses) so at first I thought I was going in the back way. Upon entering the room, I was greeted with an overwhelming smell, close to baby powder but not quite, so I had to leave the door to the room open for about 10 minutes to air out the place. "The room was not clean. There were traces of blood/ dirt on pillows and blanket. The bed was so old and disgusting we both got backache and neck ache and couldn’t sleep throughout the night.
