"The hotel is in a great location with beautiful views across the bay. The decor and quality of the rooms are very nice but starting to look a bit tired in places. The one downside is that the hotel was hosting the world cigar championship and the staff were too busy looking after the people attending that event to properly provide a good enough service to other hotel guests. It proved difficult getting any quality of service throughout the bars and restaurants during our stay."

"One of our best stays in recent memory. Flawless check-in and even offered breakfast since it was still open! Location is great: you can see the old city from the terrace and it’s about a 15-minute walk to the back gate. There are several good restaurants and a couple of markets and sandwich shops within walking distance. The room itself was finished to a high standard with a jet tub in the bathroom and a small courtyard to sit out on. Breakfast was excellent and featured cook-to-order eggs, fruit, juices, etc. I would definitely recommend this property!."

"I can’t give it 5 stars only because of the noise. The location is perfect and at street level so you do t have to climb hundreds of steps like w other places. It’s right in the heart of old town with an associated restaurant that’s excellent. Because of its location you do get noise from the street and restaurants. I would definitely return here. I’m a solo traveler."
