"Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! It was like visiting a friend or relative. Parking was nice, breakfast was homemade, home grown, and amazing! Snailbox down the way also has amazing beef stew. It’s not far from Hill of Tara or Newgrange. Highly recommend staying! "

"It is a no brainer to stay at this gorgeous Hotel in the country. We stayed in the Ruins building off to the side of the main building, large room, very comfy, with stunning grounds. The dinner and breakfast were awesome and staff exceptional. It was like staying in Downton Abbey, not that we have, but it felt like it!"

"There is a full kitchen available to all tenants. It is stocked with fresh eggs, milk, fresh squeezed orange juice, cereal, granola, bread for toast and much more to make mornings so pleasant! Rooms were beautiful and remodeled but still antique enough to have the old Irish feeling. Malcolm and Angela were such a joy to have as hosts. we could not have asked for a better stay, hosts, and beautiful property to walk in (gardens/open fields)"

"Tara View Apartments is a peaceful, beautiful property. The staff are helpful and congenial. The accommodations are shockingly good for such an economic option. Public transit and taxis are hard to come by, so car hire is recommended. That provided, there couldnt be a better place to stay in County Meath unless one absolutely must be able to get to the city by foot or bus."

"The Carton house is about 45 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Dublin. The grounds are lovely. The walk to Town is about 30 minutes and well worth it as there are other historical sites to visit in the town. The interior of the Carton house is modern but historical features remain throughout. "This hotel was perfect for our family of six. We had two rooms across the hall from each other. The bedsheets were nice. The bathroom was great and I wasn’t sure what to expect but we were very pleasantly surprised. It was a nice hotel and I would recommend that anybody go there? It was also a great value"
