"The hosts were extremely friendly and their granddaughter ( Camelia) was a great help in communicating in English. We experienced a typhoon while there which destroyed a lot of local fruit trees and left us without power for a few hours on the second night. All together a decent stay and on a side note transportation will be required if you need to eat out. "

"We had an exceptional stay at Mountain Side! The hosts were very kind and helpful. We had a couple of minor things come up (flat tire on a bike, unable to get a Grab when we had to leave to catch a train) and the hostess immediately helped out. The facility is really clean and picturesque with a great patio and pool. The restaurant food was really good and was not heavily marked up like you expect in touristy areas. "We were only at this home stay for a few hours but the owners were super accommodating. We had a unfortunate situation where a purse and passport was left on a bus that continued on. Within a less than a 6 hour period the owner got it figured out, made arrangements and got the passport with all its money, credits cards, etc. back to us. So far as to running out the retrieve it from the bus station when it was returned back to the city."
