Amanda was very gracious in changing the queen room to a king room. We were returning from an 8-day trip, and the bed was by far the most comfortable of the trip."

First, the toilet was dated and the flush valve needed to be changed, so the toilet would continue to run. Also, I was not a fan of the room's configuration. Having the TV placed in such a way that forces guests to rotate it in order to see can be a little annoying. "Great area. I’m a Springfield native for 34 years but moved to Iowa and now when we visit this is our go to hotel. Breakfast is amazing and it’s really affordable "

"Bed was comfortable. Pillows were too. The hot tub was nice but might have had way too much chlorine in it. People’s eyes, and mine too, were burning from just sitting in it. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good but basically the same every morning. Sausage patties, egg patties, biscuits and gravy, make your own waffles, bagels and other bread items like English muffins, cereal, juice, coffee. I didn’t care for the coffee. The in room powder coffee creamer packets were really old and snapped apart...

"I have stayed at this property before. Don't believe I'll stay here again. The check in was fine and the room was clean. I know it is an older place but for the price point it was fine. Then tried to turn on the TV, it didnt work. It was 930 pm, so it wasnt much of a bother. After that, I started to look at other things. "Okay for the "nostalgia" feel- for one night. Breakfast was plain/carbohydrate city. Small area to eat in. Rooms were small but adequate. Two employees had poor water pressure in their rooms. Mine was fine. Parking is tight, especially if you have a pickup truck. Room to room sound was okay, but you could hear out in the parking area cars/voices, etc. Staff was okay."
