"Loved the stay, that being said these are some small complaints: the temperature control on the shower was kind of confusing/sticky and so I basically cooked myself. Additionally the sink was clogged after the first time we washed our faces and hands which was a bit odd. Otherwise no complaints, had a lovely stay!"

"Hotel was okay.... Pretty good breakfast. The rooms are fairly run down and could use some TLC. The towels and sheets seemed clean but the room itself could have been cleaned better for sure."

"First time stayed at this hotel in St. Jacobs. Location is excellent. Places we wanted to visit were just steps away. Ample self-parking spaces on-site. Very convenient. Staff is very informative. Dining room staff is courteous and efficient to bring out fresh batch of cooked or baked food. One of the best self-serve continental breakfast. Bedroom is clean and decorated in simple but calming design. The 2-Queen-bed suite we stayed in is very spacious. The cooling system inside the room is easy...

"The hosts were available for any issues, yet in the shadows....meaning they were not in your space, yet responded rapidly with any requests. This place has turn off the century charm, for sure. It is super well located. All amenities are provided as stated & then some. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"A charming historical property in a rural location with easy access to nearby towns and outdoor activities. Very friendly and helpful hosts served an excellent breakfast each day."

"When attending the pool at 9pm there were no towels available on the towel rack and the ones we could see being used by other guests were extremly small and thin. That could be improved. The adjacent lounge should be available for guest to sit in outside of Breakfast and Dinner and drinks could be offered to improve the amenity."
