"Good point, close to the subway station and all the reception staff were friendly and English-speaking. The building was old, but the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the sheets were clean. Not good point, on the map there is a big park between the subway and the hotel, but there is no park and there is big construction. But the hotel is located inside the apartment, so it is quiet) "

"We stayed in a twin room. The beds were comfortable and had 2 choices of pillows. I believe the room didn't have a screen, so we had to use the air but needed to air it out when we arrived. The AC worked well. The place is in need of sprucing up in the hallway but it wasn't bad. There was a stink coming from the floor drain in the bathroom, but this is quite common in china, not much the hotel can do about it if the plumbing was not designed properly. There wasn't alot of restaurants...

"I only stayed a couple of days and can't say anything bad. The hotel isn't that great but the room and bathroom were clean. One of the best places for this price point. I had to book the day before and it was convenient cause of location. Also, I needed an updated copy of the police registration and the staff helped me out with that (I speak a bit of Chinese so that helped. They didn't seem to know much english though). "Arrived at this Home Inn I booked on hotels.com using the address in my email from them. The address was actually 51 not 53. The room was very cheap for 148 CNY per night. On checking in they told me I was at the wrong hotel and should be at Shanghai Airport Home Inn and it was 200 CNY away in a taxi. I spent 5 hours talking to this hotel and the airport hotel and 3 hours on the phone with hotels.com and finally it was 3am and I had to pay 325 CNY to stay at this hotel! I still can't believe it....
