We had 2 double rooms, one was a a small double bed, not big enough for 2 adults and the other room has 2 single beds pushed together to make a big double. If your booking its maybe best to select a twin rather than having a tiny bed. Everything was fine, I feel the reviews are very harsh. I would definitely stay again and recommend. "

Sinle rooms are in the basement, down 2 flights of stairs but the single room is an example of containing everything well designed in a small space - and there's even a window into a light well. Finishes in the room are immaculate, even the bathroom, considering what the designers had to fit into a small space. Only criticism was the noise from the guests on the upper floors who seemed to be having an impromptu concert party in the wee small hours,...

"Needs refurbishing. Shower mount was broken and water was too hot to stand under. Wooden floors in room didn't feel clean. Lift is small and smelled bad. Only stay here if you need the location and somewhere cheap. For not much more though you could get a brand name hotel."
