"I had a wonderful stay at Macalister Terrace Hotel. The hotel is very comfortable, clean, and has a really nice ambience that made the stay relaxing and enjoyable. A special thanks to Liz, who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Her warm hospitality and excellent service truly made the experience even better. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay in Penang. I would definitely come back again!"

"❶ オーナー側の部屋番号の配置&連絡ミスによるトラブルに巻き込まれ、夜中寝ているところを起こされ、とても怖い思いをしました。 夜中にベルを鳴らされ、オーナーによりドアを開けられたのですが、事前に連絡や説明をすべき！いきなり鍵を開けるのは違法&犯罪では？ ❷ またトイレットペーパーの補充が一つも置いてなくて困りました。(アプリのサイトを使って連絡しました) 最終日に部屋を出た後以外には、掃除してもらえない仕組みのようです。 だから、途中でタオル交換やトイレットペーパーの追加なども、何らかの方法で伝えないと、してもらえません。"

"1. The room smells of heavy smoke even from the bedsheets! This is a smokers room paradise 2. The bathroom clogged up easily 3. The room was so small like a penitentiary cell. Can’t even fit a chair in room ! 4. The short Indian guy at counter extremely rude. Said Wifi in all the rooms the same ! 5. The Wifi was absolutely non existent. Hardly was able to connect 6. I demand one day refund! I only stayed one night & had to leave. That room was toxic !"

"If you are solo and just want a place to sleep, it works. The cons include a tiny space, very slow internet, no fridge, and no nearby convenient stores or restaurants. It's approximately 1.5 miles to the attractions, making it walkable if you're looking for some exercise."
