"The location is great. Near Port Authority and of course right on 42nd st about a block or two from the hustle of Times Square. It was my first time trying out the Pod hotel franchise and it was a good experience over all with the hotel itself. On our second day, the room next door decided to smoke in their room and it filled my room up with the smell of cigarettes. "This is a great hotel! The rooms were the most spacious I’ve found in NYC. The location is perfect and so close to Broadway, Times Square, and Rockefeller. It was a warm March day during our stay, so we had to open the windows for some cool air. NYC sure is noisy, but actually being able to open a window was nice (though noisy). It seems like most places bolt them shut in NYC. Staff was helpful and courteous!"

"Genuinely the staff was wonderful and the only reason I would consider going back. The front doorman was so helpful and kind to me and my friends and helped us get a flat rate taxi to the airport. Really loved the staff everyone was so accommodating and nice. Hotel wise it’s fine.. It’s a loud street, the carpet moves as you walk, and it’s a very small bathroom with a weird shower set up. Overall it was fine for the price plus you get 10% off at some of the restaurants near by."
