"The room was clean and plenty of towels. WiFi wasn’t good in the room but very good in the bar. Breakfast was average, would have liked more selection in the “bakery section” maybe a bagel, crumpets, crusty bloomer. Fruit selection was lacking too. "So after reading comments from others, good and bad, I believe this hotel has a two tier room system. The front looks good and is ground level. The back is seedy and it seems they haven't made any attempts to do even small things to make up for the dated rooms. The restaurant was good, staff were great. Room was not clean but at least the sheets were, which was appreciated. It looked like the floor had been mopped without vacuuming, small pebbles, what may or may not have been a toenail etc....

"The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we came in. The rooms were good, there just was a couple of issues. The T.V in my room didn’t work on the first day we were there, but they fixed it the next day. The TV in my dad’s room didn’t work and that wasn’t fixed, a long With a light in the bathroom which also didn’t work for the duration of the stay. The breakfast was really nice, though there was cereals, yoghurt, toast and croissants along with juice and then no is the option...

"Quiet room though we were on the ground floor and had no view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were fine; the best onion bhajis of my life so they are THOROUGHLY recommended.
