"We had a brilliant stay in this hotel. The guy who checked us in was really friendly and helpful & the room was bigger than expected. This is our second time staying in this hotel & we will definitely be coming back again next year. The pool is lovely too and pleased children can bring toys with them into the shalllow pool . Great for family stays."

"A simple stay for a couple of days to visit a sick friend nearby, in a comfortable guest house exceeded my expectations. Large tasty breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, warm and comfortable bed in a bright room overlooking the garden. Just what was needed. I’ll be back."

"We booked two rooms while walking the coast path. Neither room had a working shower. Both produced boiling hot water that would burn.All we were offered was the use of another shower in an outside building. We declined. Tired building and the Manager uninterested in offering any support or refund. He just told us the rooms were due to be updated! My advice..Go somewhere else. "

"Great location .Large comfortable room overlooking beach. Windows old and very draughty ,building a bit tired in places. WiFi non existent in room. Not a hotel problem, but Weymouth car parking charges astronomical!!"

"Great breakfast (packed up up too ) and great start to the day . Friendly staff and convenient bar downstairs yet surprisingly quiet enough . There are ear plugs if you need them but I did not :) definite recommend and a new favourite ."

"A very welcome stop while walking the South West Coast Path. Room wasn't ready until about 16.00 (advised 15.00) but the staff were so friendly and welcoming, getting me a drink and genuinely apologetic for the wait. It happens - probably a full check out from the Saturday night and it was no hardship to sit in the garden in the sun. Loved the room. Very well equipped, in keeping with the location, great hot shower, loads of teas/coffees etc and the bed was amazing. Took advantage of the £12.00 offer on roasts after 17.00. Yes, no doubt not as good as would have been at lunch time but £12?! Breakfast next morning was lovely. Small Continental buffet but perfectly adequate, great coffee and nice hot offerings. Would love to go back!"
