"You do get what you pay for and by all means this is not a 5 star luxury hotel. However, I have to say that I have zero complaints!
- lovely staff
- clean bed
- kettle with coffee and tea provided
- beautiful sea views (shower I faced the car park which didn’t bother me)
You can hear noise from other rooms, however again this wasn’t an issue for me. If you do have this problem, I’m sure the staff will be happy to help.

"Our room had a very ugly view over the bins and kitchen extractor fans. This created a loud hum until around 10pm and also brought some cooking smells into the room. The walls are also very thin and we could hear the room next door very clearly.
However, after midnight the noise died down and it was quiet.
The hotel is in a nice, very rural location."

"Despite the friendliness of staff and cleanliness, pristine towles and good quality linen. The bed was very loose and very squeaky, quite uncomfortable to sleep on. The walls are very thin, could hear the conversation from one room and the football game from the other. When people opened and closed their bedroom doors, it felt and sounded as if they were opening and closing my bedroom door. I felt very unsafe as a solo traveller. TV had no signal and the Wifi didn'twork, I had to use my own...

"We have stayed twice at The Victoria and will no doubt stay in the future.
All the staff are friendly and welcoming.
The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.
Plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits.
The building is old and tired, but it is clean and very good value for money,
The restaurant is welcoming and the food is good too.
The location is convenient to walk into Canterbury.
Parking is FREE at The Victoria."
