"It was cold during our stay and although we turned the heat up the room remained cold. The temperature must have been preset to a maximum number. That was disappointing.
The room was clean and we had a nice view. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was good and the staff at the coffee shop were kind and helpful.
There is an upgrade charge for a referegator and a microwave, which is standard in every other hotel/motel we have stayed. I don't feel there should be an upgrade charge...

"The hotel needs an upgrade, I love Fairfield typically. The shower was very outdated and was hard to operate. The walls throughout the hotel and doors were very runned down. The breakfast was not great compared to what they typically have and the pool was closed! Without any warning. Also trains go by all night woke up at 11am 4am and 6 because of it not sure they can help that but wouldn't stay here again. Also smelled of weed on the first floor by the elevators. For $200 a night it's shameful...

"This inn is truly a gem. It was my best stay anywhere, ever. That sounds like hyperbole, but it's not. The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were very comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was excellent! And not to mention, historic charm. We will be back, and we have already booked two additional stays. "

"We were just 2 people. The upstairs shower was slippery to us so we used downstairs. Needed a fan in back bedroom. Lots of spiderwebs on outdoor chairs. Used swing only. There are lots of cameras, just a little unnerving. No garbage disposal! No regular coffee pot, just keurig. Tiny ice cube trays, no ice maker. "
