"Checked in no room phone to call front desk. Pull out couch had no sheets, blankets or even a pillow in the room. I called - we are out of blankets and pillows. What? Went to the pool area no towels. Back to front desk to ask for pool towels, I get bath towels but can't mix with pool towels so i was asked to bring them back to the front desk when done. the front clerk said again we have no blankets or pillows... I said I am confused you allow rooms with pull out beds but can't prepare for it?...

"Room was reasonably clean and intact. Location was good (for access to Forest Park, the Hill, and the Botanical Gardens).
Looks like a formerly decent big hotel that must have lost its big-name franchise. Carpets in common areas appear to have been cleaned, but stretched/damaged in the process.
Room had no Kleenex... and front desk couldn't provide any. Sink in bathroom was cracked and crudely patched, but functional. Toilet flushed, but very slowly...with the outcome always in doubt. ...

"The hotel is very dated and well used. We saw a lot of dirt. Don't expect amazing rooms. What this places offers is location -- easy access to transit line into the city and a shuttle for Cardinals home games. This makes it easy to stay and about half the cost for staying right next to the stadium. We paid for an arch view room and it did not disappoint on the view aspect."
