"I wanted to love this hotel so bad! I love adaptive reuse projects— such a cool building, but the experience was subpar due to cost saving compromises.
I expect quirky/unique properties to have a few glitches, but this property had too many for the price tag. Here’s where this hotel scores low:
-no restaurant on site, contrary to the Expedia listing.
-no hot water in shower and “rain shower head” clogged. Low quality soap/lotion in random dollar store bottles. For comparison The Graduate...

"Fantastic location in the heart of Marshalltown! No elevator but the staff helped us bring all of our luggage up. Room was unbelievably spacious and it was quiet. Would definitely stay here again! The restaurant/bar below was small but quaint and the food was good."

"The cabin was cute and the setting peaceful. However, there were A LOT of dead bugs. On the floor. Window sills, hide a bed mattress. Dishes and shelves. Extremely disappointed in that. Also window shades abdcfrsmes spotted with bug droppings"
