"It wasn’t a bad place to sleep for the night. If we were going to stay longer, we might choose elsewhere. It was clean. The beds weren’t the most comfortable. The sofa/bed had soiled spots. You could tell it needed a bit of an update. Breakfast was alright—waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, eggs, biscuits and gravy (typical run of the mill continental breakfast and not the best one we’ve had before). "Room was very clean. I stayed on a tue and most of the shops were closed. Key was left at the desk so no one was there to check me in. If you stay here, would recommend on a weekend when things are open."

"Unforseen circumstances caused us to to find a place last minute on a holiday weekend. Our host was so gracious and accommodating, check in and check out was seamless. The house felt like a home. Very warm and comfortable all we needed was a few groceries. The property is stunning, peaceful and quiet, we even seen a few deer in the back field. We do recommend and would stay here again."
