"Ich kann dieses Hotel leider nicht empfehlen. Ich habe es für nur eine Übernachtung genommen, weil es vergleichsweise günstig war und ich nur eine Schlafgelegenheit gebraucht habe, bevor ich am nächsten Tag auf Kreuzfahrt gehe. Aber der Preis war für das, was man bekommt, trotzdem zu teuer. Das Hotel war vor langer Zeit vielleicht mal schön, aber leider ist es über viele Jahre heruntergekommen und vor allem der Außenbereich wurde einfach seinem Schicksal überlassen. "la struttura è datata e non sono stati effettuati i necessari lavori di conservazione/aggiornamento. Alcuni decenni fa doveva essere favolosa. Del passato conserva una bellissima piscina con solarium e la vastità dei locali: reception, bar, salotti. Grande parcheggio e pineta. La posizione nell'isola è bellissima, in particolare si trova sul sentiero di discesa dell'aeroporto e si possono osservare da vicino gli aerei in atterraggio (nelle ore notturne non ci sono voli)."

"The room was spacious, spotless, and featured an extremely comfortable bed. We especially loved the sea-view balcony, which made our stay even more enjoyable. "Ionian Arches is a really well located, clean, family run place. The photos on the listing definitely glamorise it a bit - e.g we chose a superior room with garden view, which actually looked out onto the driveway and some plants. We were also a bit disappointed to find our breakfast is only offered in the summer - June onwards - but luckily there are lots of cafes in walking distance. Our shower also didn’t work great due to the water coming out in one pressurised stream from the middle. But...

"Hotel is located on a steep hill, not easy up hill drive. Limited parking and you need to be able to go up and down stairs to get around and to the dinning area. Dinning area- If you lucky you have a balcony table with nice view of the sea. Otherwise you have to use inside table. Food - half boarding breakfast/Dinner, same buffet items the entire week that we stayed. Dinner do not include access to water coffee and you need to buy! The rooms and the hotel is a bit dated."
