"There were 2 big issues with our stay. One of which was the smell of the room. They use some kind of mint cleaner but it just masked the musty smell. It was a dog room but in all of our other stays with our dogs we haven’t experienced that. The room wasn’t technically dirty but the smell and condition of the room like the bathroom doorknob about to fall off made the cleanliness highly questionable.
Second was the issue with our check in. We are on a cross country move and driving long hours...

"Unsafe and Unacceptable Conditions.
During our stay, the air conditioning was not working throughout the property, including our room. I spoke with staff on several occasions regarding this issue and was told that the owner was aware of the problem but had decided not to repair it because of the cost. This created extremely uncomfortable conditions, especially while traveling with a child in mid summer.
Additionally, during breakfast my son ate a Go-Gurt that was spoiled. The product was sour...

"Lawn not mowed. like foot tall grass. Fire pit overgrown.
Checkin instructions said key was in lockbox and gave a combination number. there was a lockbox but we could not open in even though we tried for 10 minutes. Turns out they don't use the lock box anymore, instead the code was for the electronic door lock. Inside was nice, clean except for one dead bug we found. Cute inside. nice kitchen. Good beds and furnishings. Beach access was a hike. should say high bank in description."
