"Room 128 was musty smelling. Bathroom has rust stains, cracked/missing caulking, room floor has chips/gaps at the wall. Peeling paint, water stains in closet ceiling area. Room needs to be updated. Hoping I can attach some photos to show. Water has to be getting behind the walls of the shower. Was only passing through and only stayed for a quick night. If I was staying multiple nights, I would have asked for a different room. Travel this route regularly. Will definitely try another place...

"It's great that the place is pet-friendly. We didn't try the breakfast, but the nightly fresh-baked cookies were appreciated. We encountered bugs in the room, and we were told it was roly-poly season. The front desk offered to move us, but since we had already settled in, we chose not to bother with the move."

"Positives: There was a supply of everything we needed from soaps to rags and towels to dishes. The kitchen and bathroom were clean; the water is excellent, and the freezer dispenses both water and ice. There were live plants and a birdfeeder on the deck, and the grounds were well kept and mostly free of poison ivy. The spacious wraparound deck was in excellent condition with a hanging swing, a picnic table, and a table with chairs.
Cons: The cabin is a lot smaller than it looks in the promo...
