"This is an absolutely gorgeous, wonderful historic inn in Richmond. We booked this hotel at the last minute without knowing anything about it, and we were blown away by how charming and beautiful it is. The interior courtyard was like a secret garden in the city. "My stay at this inn was excellent. Plenty of easy parking with good lighting and safe feeling. Check in service was super fast and friendly. Front desk, and all staff were very pleasant, smiled and polite. Room cleaned well, and all amenities worked well. Nice TV and beds comfortable. A very comfortable night stay with 2 small dogs in tow. "

"When we arrived, we were informed that even though we had a confirmed reservation there was no room. The reason the cleaning staff had not cleaned the room. So, after a long flight in the rain we were forced to fiend for our selves and find another place to lodge. I now am fully aware that an Expedia reservation at a Hilton property is worth a warm bucket of spit."
