"This hotel was totally unexpected. The personal touches that they add are enchanting! Each room is unique and the thought behind them is incredible. They offer a coffee bar during the day and a wine bar in the evening. We were even able to have a free movie outside with popcorn! This is an amazing place! The lobby is like a public living room and there are seating areas with firepits in multiple locations. It is totally walkable to downtown Highlands . . which is so charming! Stay here!"

"The main inn is charming. The bunkhouse is a different story, and the gap between the two is wide enough that I felt misled by the photos used to sell the property.
The room is tiny. Just know a king bed takes up almost all of the floor space, and the only other furniture are small nightstands, a luggage rack, a folding chair, and a closet with a curtain instead of a door. There is no room to unpack or move around comfortably. The dark green paint and trim look moody in photos, but in person...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was exceptionally clean, tidy, and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable.
We brought steaks to grill and planned to cook and relax at the house on our first evening. The grill was excellent, but we did notice that there wasn't any seating in the backyard. A couple of stackable plastic chairs would have made it even more enjoyable.
We would definitely recommend this home to anyone...
