"We had a 1 night stay while traveling and found this La Quinta to meet our needs! Close to I-81, nice sized room with comfortable king bed, excellent breakfast in the morning, and near to Salem, VA, where we ate at Awful Arthur’s and enjoyed an excellent supper! Highly recommend!"

We stayed here due to limited options with graduation weekend at Virginia Tech happening the same time we had a wedding to attend. Our bedspread had a red stain on it. "Lobby area and bar were fine, but the room and hallways smelled like old wet clothes. The smell in the hall was just as bad. Had to open sliding door overnight to help. Dark and dingy overall. Not worth the Marriott price tag by any means. Not a hotel I will come back to. Also, they charge extra if you drive. Really, $5 to park at the hotel Im staying at."
