"The hotel is a little old but the room was clean and the staff was very nice. As we were going to be busy around lunch I wanted a hotel with good breakfast and based on pictures I was expecting waffles or pancakes for breakfast but they didn't have any so the breakfast wasn't that great. The area felt safe so it was good for one night."

"If you're flying in or out of Tampa, this is by far, THE PLACE TO STAY.?
You literally walk one step and you go from the lobby into the terminal.
The room was on a recently renovated floor and was first class as was the bar/ lounge and the breakfast Cafe. The food was excellent.
The pick-up and return of the rental car was so efficient, right on the property.
Check in valet service, or self parking was also the easiest I've ever seen at a major airport.

"This hotel is scheduled to be demolished and replaced with a 180 room embassy suites property. Kind of on life support, the location is great, the rooms have balconies and face the beach, everything is mostly dated, couches stained and visibly dirty, the bathroom had mold in the tile grout and the exhaust fan was screaming for mercy ( I cleaned 15 yrs of dirt from it, that helped) Very little equipment in 1980 kitchen. Two spoons 2 butter knives, 1 sharp knife, no forks, frying pan, 2dented pots...
