"I am drawn to the Alamo so I loved this hotel which has an entrance to the Alamo courtyard. I loved the historic furnishings in my room and Kcup coffee maker and bottled water and the mini fridge. Then there was a heavy dps presence which made me feel safe. Wifi worked well."

"The hotel itself was nice, comfortable, and well-kept; however they were understaffed or maybe that just their usual. Towels and bedding (eg..blanket for the sofa I had to sleep on because I received a room with only a sofa, not a sleeper). After finally getting a blanket the second day, I slept comfortable on it. The towel situation never got any better. There was always a shortage of towels from the first day.

"The room and bathroom were a good size. The bedding was comfortable. The bathroom was clean but the shower nozzles were a little confusing and we kept getting random bursts of cold and hot water. Our only window faced the inside of the hotel. While the shutters provided good blockage of the light I would have preferred drapes.
