"In the room we stayed in, the mattress was extra firm. That is just simply not our preference. The main issues were the attitude of the lady at check-in and the breakfast buffet option offered. For some reason, she was easily offended. She seemed upset with several people who checked in at the same time. Breakfast was supposed to be until 9 o’clock. "When we first arrived we were greeted by a huge leak in the laundry room and bathroom that I’m not sure how whoever prepared the unit for our arrival did not see. "The only criticism I have for this charming, relaxing property is that the bed we slept on was like a king sized army cot with the steel spring frame, and the pillows were akin to the disposable kind you get in the ER. That being said, we would stay at Carriage Lane Inn again, but we hope the bed would be a bit more comfortable next time. "
