"The wifi service did not work the entire time I was there. After asking several times about the issue, across 3 days and 4 staff members, each gave different answers. Ranging from it must be jammed up with many people using it to "I don't know, sorry", to I'll ask the manager, to we'll reboot it. One staff member said they had great connectivity. I pointed out that was the "staff wifi", not the guest wifi. Which connects for maybe 1-2 minutes then drops. And I tried at all times of the day. If...

"This hotel is nice enough but needs investment and to examine its pricing structure. It looks and feels dated. Everything was 'okay'. Clean with good staff, but the food and rooms were average at best and extremely overpriced.
The most annoying thing for me was that a pint of lemonade and lime was more expensive than any of the pints of beer. That is simply wrong.
I had an Executive Room. This just means that your room is in the original house rather than the annex. Again, it was 'okay', but...

"I booked two rooms, one for myself the other for my son. When we arrived we were given keys to our respective rooms and another for external door entry outside of opening hours. My key was just loose with no number.
We were told that we could have a drink at the bar but needed to go immediately as it was about to close. The nice young lady who booked us in appeared to serve drinks. We sat down to have our beers on stained and tacky looking chairs and a large dog appeared and came and joined...
