"1. Ordered 2 things from off the menu from the restaurant. They got the order wrong.
2. Checked in. Received room key. Room was dirty and beds not made up.
3. Received a key card for a new room. Card did not open door to the room."

"No instructions on using air conditioner and no staff available room was freezing.
Also a bucket of water was outside my door without any explanation.
The info on the property does say there are stairs but it does not state how big a stsircase this is. It’s huge and very difficult if you have any mobility issues."

"This place is totally run down. One of the worst hotels I have stayed at in my life. Most of the staff were friendly. Exception was the checkout person who did not even turn to me or lift her head when I asked about the checkout process."

"Website is not how property shows in real life. Exterior of property needs updating as well as property grounds. Rooms interior are updated but common areas are still dated. Air conditioning units need to be replaced. Food is average and highly priced. Lake is not clear and was told by locals they do not swim in it. Staff was friendly and accommodating but accommodations and property were very average grade."

"Love the feel which can only happen when you do it intentionally. You can feel the comfort from the start. Taking a modern style and making it woodsy is not easy. The pillows were a challenge but worked through it. Be aware that it’s a very rural location but the market close by has decent sandwiches."
