"Stayed here for one night in a multiple beds room. Room was spacious and had all we needed. I would definitely recommend opting for the lake view rooms as the view is great! Both members of staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay again."

"It’s Lovely venue, we arrived late due to traffic congestion on M6 , (think the Hotel Sign just off the Motorway -should direct via the A6 it’s a much better road-than the very rough track -a nightmare from B road- Sat Nav Directions-!,). Breakfast was lovely, Bed Comfort excellent - as we arrived late I was concerned we might wake others as floor boards in room were creaky, we were not at the Hotel but a few hours but very impressed with the place and over the top .helpful day manager and...

"Very Scottish decor’ for some reason. Staff were over worked and doing multiple jobs as best as they could and as quickly as they good. Tending bar, taking orders, waiting on tables - just one person! They really struggled at breakfast with a coach party all coming down to eat at the same time and only two waitresses and one chef to handle everything. I could see how frustrated the staff and the customers were getting with the whole situation. The room was clean and tidy with good tea and...

"Had a few days in The Lakes while visiting family in the UK and attending the Oasis concert in London. We could not have been happier with The Ambleside Inn - totally excellent stay. Great location, wonderful staff (thank you) and although no onsite parking there are lots very close to the Inn and the short stay (30 min) drop off is right outside.
