"A long road trip to Maine required an overnight stay to break up the drive. I chose Colby Hill Inn over any chain hotel for its promising charm, mostly and restaurant. "Beautiful surroundings! What a delightful find! I fyou are looking for a quiet, serene place, this is it! As a single woman traveling alone, I felt very safe here. And the breakfast!! OMG! You have the luxurious benefit of a stellar chef to prepare a PERFECT breakfast. I would have liked to have stayed longer just for the breakfasts!!"

"This is a secret Hidaway. Don't judge a book by its cover. Very cozy, roomy cottage. We were a family of 4 and there was more than enough room. Communication was amazing and is what made our stay easy! Perfect distance to Mount Sunapee. "

"The townhouse was perfect for my family of 4 as we were skiing at nearby Mt. Sunapee (about 8 mins away!). The pictures honestly represented the property. The kitchen is a bit dated but the townhouse was very clean and very comfortable. The property manager was extremely welcoming and so very helpful when we had questions. The property is located on lots of open land so we were able to snowshoe with the kids on the property as well. Would definitely come back to this townhouse."

"This is a lovely cabin and the owners seem nice, but it needs a new cleaning plan. After arriving to a dirty microwave, dog food on the floor, a dirty floor, a moldy shower curtain, cobwebs over the table, etc… I did some digging on other sites to see people’s comments and they were the same. The owner’s response to them and to me was that it was professionally cleaned (if this is true, they need to be fired) and that he would talk to them. Well, nothing seems to have changed since the same...
