"When I booked this property through Expedia. The listing mentioned having a balcony… not true what so ever. The entire hotel doesn’t have any balconies. I could’ve sworn I even seen pictures.
We did like our city view that we had. There was a full moon, it looked gorgeous at night. Right across the Straz in the corner room 8th floor.
It was walking distance from the armature wall & the Poe Garage, which we chose for parking.

"My room smelled like dirty dogs were allowed in the room. All the upholstery was dingy and smelled like dogs. Fortunately the bed and the bedding were clean. The lobby was poorly decorated and requires an upgrade and the dining area looked like a school cafeteria. I was shocked that Marriot allowed their name to be affiliated with this establishment. I slept with my mask on because of the smell. No other rooms were available."

"Paper thin walls... rude people slamming doors and arguing at 7am in the next room over. Sleep was crap.
Usually, when your night is ruined by somebody screaming next door all night and you can't sleep. then you're woken up at 7:00 a.m. by that same person slamming their doors and arguing with someone.
You try to fix the terrible experience for them. To show them that this wasn't the norm at your place and that it's a one-off experience. That you want to show me a better experience.

"Cockroach in room. Fire in another room had us in the parking lot 3 hrs. Left for another hotel and it was a breath of fresh air.
This location is amazing but hotel old and the cockroach was a bummer."

"The only complaint I have would be the bed was hard as a rock, my body hurt so bad the next morning. I tossed and turned all night., guest services sent up a blanket to add some cushion, but it didn’t help.
The room stayed warm, we couldn’t get it to cool down. Other than that, our stay was great!"
