"The hotel was beautiful, but we called four times to ensure we had adjoining rooms, just to arrive and not have adjoining rooms. We were looking forward to trying out the best, which was closed. Sitting out in the bar area and sharing some cocktails-closed. To follow it up, the Starbucks in the lobby was closed the next morning and there was no coffee in the lobby. Hotel staff told me we could go across the street (through construction) to the gas station for coffee. When we complained the next...

"We went to UC Davis for a tour and we absolutely loved the location of this hotel. We arrived a little early and hoped to get our room but the receptionist was the kindest, so when she said “we don’t have rooms available yet” with an attitude didn’t seem honest.. but it’s ok. The room was perfect and location was the best!"

"The lobby and breakfast area was nicely maintained. We appreciated the fresh fruit, cookies and ice water always available in the lobby. The breakfast was decent and liked that they provided trays to take food to room. The bedroom was clean however the hallway carpets were dirty and did not appear to be vacuumed over the three days we were there.
