"Only “issue” was the detergent they used really irritated my skin. Not a complaint, it is what it is. But this doesn’t happen at other hotel chains. If you know your skin gets bothered by certain detergents, bring a spare T-shirt to put over your pillow"

"Unbeatable price for NYC. Staff was up cleaning loudly at 8am so that was a bit much and some of the artwork was inappropriate for young kids. Sharing bathrooms with other guests was a non issue."

"The front desk and breakfast staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is quite good for a hotel breakfast. It’s a quiet hotel in a lovely neighborhood. The hotel itself though is in bad shape- stained carpets, such a small room you can barely move, one elevator for approximately 100 suites etc You have to ask for everything- room to be serviced, a fridge etc. When we got the fridge it looked like it had been in a home hit by a bomb but it worked! "I am not sure, but this seems to be a more local or smaller corp hotel.. Centered in a very good location for broadway shows and museums and the Lincoln Jazz center as well as St Patrick’s (ya’ll are catholic anyway, may as well accept that anyway). The service staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms cleaned or picked up each night ( 3 night stay over a weekend) - that’s a plus because more and more are going to an every other day or upon request. I would book again"

"The room's decorative pillows smelled awful, the skirt on the bed was stained and dirty. Additionally, the room did not have coffee or tea, ice bucket, glasses or cups to drink water, and no iron. When I went to get ice from the ice machine, there were no ice buckets in the ice machine room, but the room had washing machines and dryers. I went to reception desks and asked if the Robert Treat is a welfare hotel? They said no. I did not pay close $230 for a room that did not have any of the above...
