"The hotel was OK, but for the price I felt the room was dated compared to other budget hotels. No air con in our room, light switch controlled ALL lights in the room, so no bedside reading light which is really annoying when there's two or more of you sharing a room. TV channel options seemed to be hit and miss. Other than that breakfast was good and staff were very helpful and pleasant. In terms of location it was ideal, but if I was less fussy about location there are probably better value...

"Good clean room. Bathroom looked as if it had been recently refurbished and was immaculate. A bigger bath mat in the shower cubicle would be advisable as the floor does get slightly slippy. Air con would have been useful, especially in the recent hot weather.
Breakfasts were good but took a long time to arrive."

"If you’re scrolling for a hotel PLEASE KEEP SCROLLING.
Absolutely disgusting & filthy.
In the words of my partner, “if we had a dog, I wouldn’t let that stay here ……”
To get into the room we had to move bags of rubbish outside the actually room to start with.
Walked in and found a towel used by the previous guests still in the bathroom ( and we could tell as it was dirty and stained ) .
The room was stuffy with no air and couldn’t open the windows as painted closed. The view was of the...

"The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the room was clean on arrival. The hotel was also nice and quiet, which helped us get a good night’s sleep, although we found the bed a little uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, the breakfast was disappointing, with very limited options and extremely poor gluten-free choices for my coeliac child. There was no gluten-free bread, biscuits, or muffins available for example . Despite booking breakfast for 9:00 am at check-in, we still had to wait around 10...

"Hotel was clean and close to downtown area very close to Dover Castle. It was also nice having the bar at the end of the day."
