"Extremely disappointing experience. From the moment I walked into the property, I was overwhelmed by an incredibly strong chemical cleaning smell. It wasn’t simply the scent of a freshly cleaned building; the chemicals were so overpowering that I could practically taste them. It was genuinely unpleasant.

"If you are a smoker that needs a place for you and your dog to stay this is the place otherwise do yourself a favor and find a newer LaQuinta or any other place. The hotel is very old and the rooms smell. I was told the room didn’t smell and informed that no refund was possible. I left anyway- couldn’t stay there."

"Let me say that the hotel is in the middle of renovations. My 1st room the A/c didn't work. I was sweating throughout the night. Due to it not having a phone in the room I couldn't call downstairs. The shower didn't drain and the room smelled like mold. My second room was better. The TV didn't work. The elevator took a long time to come. The staff was great! They were very friendly and welcoming. I couldn't have asked for a better crew."

"I had a great stay at Courtyard Marriott in downtown Dallas. The hotel at first glance was clean, aesthetic, and the location was excellent. Everything was within 10-15mins of the hotel which was helpful when looking for food and something to eat. Highly recommended to travelers looking for a decent place to stay while downtown. There is also super cheap parking in the surrounding area within 3 mins walking distance of the hotel."
