"I always like Empire. One strange thing to report from this most recent stay. On room arrival the shower curtain was in a ball on the shower floor. Went down to front desk and reported it. This was remedied quickly. (Fix back of leather desk chair. It is split and unsightly) in the back."

"We loved our 5 day stay at the Arlo Midtown in May 2024. Very clean, modern chic style. Loved the walk-in shower and modern bathroom. Fantastic view from our south facing room on the 24th floor, just as advertised. The rates were very reasonable and there are a lot of food options close to the hotel. Subway lines were about 10 minutes away, and Times Square and Broadway district only about 10 min walk. Hotel restaurant has a lovely terrace and the food was great. We will be back next year. ...

"Beautiful hotel in great location across from Central Park. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with nice amenities in the bathroom. The only little couple of things were that the wifi isn't great, it would be nice to see QTips and cotton swabs in the bathroom and of course a coffee/Nespresso machine for the room. I get that they want people to pay for coffee downstairs but for almost $800 a night that begins to feel very nickely-dimey of them. Overall an excellent place to stay "

"The main reason we loved the Marriott Marquis hotel is the main reason we booked it: the rooms are big. Other hotels are charging $500 for 200 sqft. Our room was almost 400 sqft and the bathroom was roomy and included a tub, which I preferred. Other pluses were the Broadway Lounge restaurant, gift shop, free tour tix, and the elevator system. We will definitely come back. "
