"Beautiful hotel and great staff. I also ate at the restaurant in the building, venteux and that was really good too. I would stay here again! It’s within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and sights (definitely do the riverwalk and the architecture boat tour). I could hear all the traffic from the street, but that’s to be expected when being in the middle of a large city. I had a fun time in Chicago!"

"Lobby was nice but could have been kept a little cleaner (we walked in and there was trash on the floor but the lobby clerks were just standing there talking). Clerk did not want to check us in and then text or call us when room was ready- like they do at most hotels. After much convincing, she finally did. No one ever contacted us about the room being ready though. We had to contact them. Common areas were a little beat up (more so than luxury hotels)-scratches in walls and wallpaper,...

"Was fine for a two night stay. Probably wouldn’t have booked if I had known the bathroom door was see through though. Not everyone is staying alone or sharing a room with someone they are comfortable with seeing almost everything through the door. So would not book again."

"Expected more honestly from rave reviews but was just ok. Family “deluxe” suite- just a regular room with a sofa bed. Amenities average. Requests ignored. No late check out without hourly charge. Basically an average level property in a great location for quite a high price"
