"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The TV options were not great and renting movies was very expensive. They should switch to smart TVs like many hotels are doing now. The AC was not working and they sent a maintenance person up right away to resolve the issue."

Be aware, the wording is pretty deceiving on the free drink with room. It is actually a drink at the coffee bar and only for one guest. Not well stated and you have to ask for it. The candy bar was not open even though it said it would be. The location was great and very convenient to everything in walking distance. Overall...

"The Foundation is a lovely historic hotel in downtown Detroit with modern amenities and beautiful furnishings. The rooms are large and tastefully decorated (with a wonderful cozy robe!), the restaurant/bar is lively and the gym is large with a full range of equipment, including Peloton bikes. I will definitely stay there again!"
