"This was the second or third time that my wife and I stayed at this hotel and in addition to being in great location for downtown Madison, the attitudes and energy levels of the onsite employees are fantastic, and this makes the place a very nice place to stay. Kudos to the employees. Keep up the good work!"

"Room was very nice, clean, great view. Dinner and breakfast in the Stateroom were both very good. Service was a little slow; it seemed they may be understaffed in the restaurant. The Friday night music was cancelled, I believe for community support after a tragic event in the city.
We would have appreciated informational materials in the room regarding instructions for the television, hotel restaurant menus, area attractions. Some hotel info was available online.

"On our arrival we were assigned probably one of the noisiest rooms in the hotel, on the first floor in front of some staff meeting room—I usually attribute this sort of behavior to bigotry of the particular staff member I was dealing with. "Do not stay here. Even after we checked with the front desk and told them we paid our full stay amount through Expedia, they still charged my credit card for the full stay. Now the hotel says we have to wait 3 to 4 business days to get our money back. The hotel management does not know what they are doing."

"Staff was amazing, very friendly, attentive, and professional. The building, rooms, and grounds were beautiful and well maintained. For those with mobility issues, several of the rooms require a rather steep climb up one or two flights of stairs."
