"I was disappointed with my stay at Southernmost Resort. The smell from the seaweed along the beach was overwhelming and made it difficult to enjoy the outdoor areas. Unfortunately, the beach was not usable during our visit because of the conditions and time of year.
I also noticed housekeeping staff frequently standing in supply rooms on their phones rather than actively working, which did not leave a great impression. Parking is not included with your stay and comes at an additional cost,...

"Hotel is a short scooter ride to Duval. Shuttle van for nights you don't want to drive. Pool is nice. Airport Shuttle is fantastic. A/C works great throughout the Hotel. Have stayed 3 times and will be back."

"Just… no.
Casa Marina is wildly overpriced for what it is. I have stayed at rough all-inclusives in the Dominican that felt more luxurious than this — and at least there, someone was trying to hand me food and alcohol.
The “beach” is the biggest disappointment. Calling it a beach feels generous. It is ugly, underwhelming, and nobody seemed particularly interested in helping with drinks or making it feel like a resort experience.
The amenities were also something special: loud maintenance...
