We love Key West, it is a place you must visit. It is a great time, restaurant choices are excellent. The bars are a great time. This history is incredible, the Hemingway house is great, the Dry Tortugas are a must see. So much to see and do.......

We enjoyed vising especially Fort Zachary Taylor state park. The ranger talk at the fort was extremely interesting and entertaining. Everyone stayed at least an hour listening to the many stories. Shopping and the sites were also very interesting.

My highlight was seeing the Tennessee Williams Museum as I previously got to act in his 3 more well known plays, and learning more about his life and time in key west was a great joy. Food little pricey but saved money hitting Publix and Pizza Joes!

Enjoyed historical sights like fort, museums (especially Key West Art Museum), but very commercial area around Mallory Square was overcrowded, parking expensive and hard to find. Bike traffic creates dangerous conditions for both riders and drivers.

We recommend renting bikes and biking to the beach and local restaurants. Blue Heaven and Sarabeth's were delicious for brunch. Garbo's grill has amazing tacos. Duetto's for pizza. We highly recommend taking a sunset boat cruz with Fury - awesome!

So many outstanding food options in Key West! Cuban grocery/deli across the street from Southwinds had the best fiery Cuban sandwich! Banana Cafe for delicious breakfast options! Outstanding food and service at Seven Fish! Now I'm hungry again!

Very beautiful sleepy town to disconnect from the daily bustling city life. The local architecture is very romantic and barbie like. However, it's NOT a cheap travel and the beach waters this time of the year were too dark for snorkeling.

Key West is an experience! Be sure to carry cash as a lot of retail and restaurants charge a fee for credit card purchases. The Duval Loop bus is free and a great way to get around but it is also quite walkable. Have fun!

We always felt safe in Key West. We walked all over the island and never had any fears. There were large crowds and lots of drinking, but it was safe and fun without an overwhelming police presence. We will return.
