Luxor Hotel Guide - 4 Stars Hotels in Luxor, Luxor Governorate

"This hotel was brilliant, fulfilling our requirements. The pool was amazing set by the Nile and the staff were really friendly both around the amenities and in the hotel itself. The downside was the rooms are a little tried and a refresher should bring it up to western levels. It is also a little further out of Luxor, making it challenging to escape the offers of taxis and horse carts, when walking into the centre. "

"We never give bad reviews but this hotel did not seem like it was worth the price. We stayed in hotels in Cairo and Aswan before this and much better. First off the staff couldn’t find our booking which was concerning. Then our room the air conditioning did not really work, everything was out dated (which we don’t care about but seemed maybe this is why air didn’t work). The restaurants weren’t very good we ate out of hotel every night. The staff at the restaurants were nice though when we ordered drinks. The shower did not really work the pressure was basically non existent and While My husband was showering it just turned off. The location was good and view of the Nile was nice and the pool was nice though. "

"The hotel feels tired and a little dingy. The carpet in the room was old and dirty. The bed was uncomfortable. The reception looked dated. We moved to another hotel."

"Clean, pleasant, basic bathroom really 3*, but a fantastic location. Definitely book a Nile view balcony and watch the west bank balloons at sunrise in your PJs!"

"Sayed and his team did a great job. Followed through on everything. We arrived at the airport, had a driver/tour guide, went on a tour, then to boat, which was as advertised. There are a lot of boat options - so I just asked for photos of the exact boat which he sent, and it was exactly that. This was all arranged on short notice too. The tour guides were generally good and vehicles all great which was nice after coming from Cairo where a taxi/Uber quality is so poor. I would recommend book and ask them to handle everything you need in Aswan to Luxor to have a great trip. A cruise is peaceful and a nice way to see the countryside. I only wish I had done a bit longer one as its a lot of temples to see in only 3 nights"
