"Staff are very courteous and super helpful. Location is very good. The rooms and all amenities are very clean. The gym room and laundry room are both good! Breakfast is really nice. "

"We had a really enjoyable three night stay at the Grand Mercure. Everything was more than we could have wished for. We were given a room upgrade on arrival. The staff were all really friendly and spoke a decent level of English. And the breakfast was really good. We would happily stay here again if we return to Xi’an."

"The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well located, with friendly staff who provided excellent service throughout my stay. The room was spacious and quiet, and the amenities were well maintained. Check-in was smooth, and overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others."

"Most of the staff were able to speak english which is rare to find in China. The staff made our stay comfortable and helped us to arrange transportation to terracota and train station. The hotel even equipped us with hotel card to make it easier for tourist communicate to taxi driver. The size of the room is huge and comfortable. we do pay extra for buffet breakfast, but the quality and taste was okay."

"Rooms were large and modern and staff tried to be very helpful but English was poorly spoken. I marked it down badly due the poor sleep as the room was to hot and there was no air-conditioning available. They did move me to a room on the cooler side of the hotel and provide a fan but not great for sleeping. Internet to me is critical and it was very slow. You could pay for a premium service but given problems and need for a VPN I could see little benefit. Even as HH member, no fast internet....
