"We were told parking was not available at the property yet a few expensive looking cars were parked in the front of the hotel in the semi circle for all the time of our stay - so not sure why as the signs did say no parking yet they didn’t move!
The spa was also not included in the price whereas at most hotels this is a standard offering for hotel guests and was charged daily so was very expensive.
Breakfast was also a bit chaotic on our first morning, service was slow and not a lot of choice...

"Staff were excellent. Food very good. Appreciated group of 10 having separate area for meals.
Not keen on the bath in the bedroom, nowhere reachable to put soap or shampoo. No washbasin in the toilet. Would be better to make shower room with toilet. Bath not easy to get in and out."

"Awesome location, Beautiful set up. The weather joined us for a super sunny relaxing 3 day. If you’re looking for a Glamping trip I highly recommended Dukeries .

"In an idyllic setting, an excellent base for holidaying around Matlock/Derbyshire .
Everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack included a bottle of my wife's favourite wine. The owner checked to see if everything was to our satisfaction.
Would certainly recommend it.

"The Mouse House is a very quirky little cottage set in the quiet village of Elton. You'll have everything that you need there for your stay. Bakewell, Chatsworth and Rowsley Shopping Village are all within a comfortable driving distance and Robin Hoods Stride/ Stone Circle an easy walk away. "
