"Booked two rooms during our four nights stay in Melbourne. We were told our booking for the two rooms weren't recorded as one booking, which was weird because we booked under one booking reference. Not sure if thats a mixup from hotels.com or park hyatt. Regardless, we ended up not staying at the same floor, which is not such a big deal. "Lovely place to stay in Melbourne. Comfortable rooms with sink in and relax king size beds. Clean and tidy room and bathroom. Loved the roof top terrace. Helpful and very friendly and efficient staff. Perfect position close to fabulous restaurants. Adjacent to the Theatre District at the top end of town. Cannot fault the hotel and would definitely recommend to my friends and family."

After returning exhausted from the marathon, I asked if I could extend my already-paid late checkout from 1pm...

"The staff is amazing. Immediately upon arriving someone helped with our luggage and greeted us. Even though we arrived several hours before the check-in time they were able to provide us with a room for no extra charge. The hotel is in a great location. It is close to the CBD, just a few minutes away. There are numerous restaurants and shops very close by."
