"Very disappointing stay at Sofitel The Palm Dubai. We arrived at 4 PM and our room was still not ready despite the advertised 3 PM check in, only gaining access around 4:30 PM. After that, it took over an hour to set up the sofa bed despite informing staff that our children were exhausted and needed to rest.
The biggest frustration was the valet service. The team could not locate our car, and it took over 1 hour and 15 minutes to retrieve it. Service throughout the hotel was consistently slow...

"Exceptional stay from check-in to checkout.
Azaat (not too sure on the spelling :) )from Kazakhstan at reception was amazing — she noticed from my sons ID at check-in that it was his birthday.
By the time we reached our room, there was a little surprise waiting for our birthday boy: a cake and balloons. Truly going above and beyond, and that kind of attention to detail is what makes a stay genuinely memorable. Thank you, Smith, for the cake and balloons!
